John Ruthven’s Songbirds of Ohio

The original 1990 painting, Spring Bluebirds, was created by internationally acclaimed wildlife artist, John A Ruthven to benefit WCET-TV48, Greater Cincinnati's public television station, the oldest in the nation.  The limited edition lithograph was only available through CET's televised Action Auction in April 1990.  This very limited edition of signed and numbered lithographs beautifully depicts a pair of bluebirds surrounded by dogwood in full bloom.  The next year, the lithograph featured a pair of Mourning Doves among magnolias.  In 1992, colorful Meadowlarks flitted through the daisies.  The final print in the series, Songbirds of Ohio, featured Cardinals.  A pair of brilliantly colored Cardinals is portrayed against the dried leaves and snow of winter.


This is a complete set of four signed and numbered prints.  Each print is number 106 of 500.  The prints are ready for framing.
